The River Soft digital marketing case study by LogDart: API request and response panels with a demo booking calendar for a SaaS website

About The River Soft

The River Soft builds cloud software. Its first users are often developers, while the people who sign contracts sit in IT and finance, so the website has to win over both.

The challenge

Developers want to try an API before they recommend it. Enterprise buyers want a demo and a conversation. The River Soft needed one site that let engineers test the product in minutes and gave decision makers a clear route to book a demo.

What we built

  • A developer first product site

Developer portal design that puts documentation, code examples and plain explanations one click from the homepage, with no marketing fog.

  • An interactive API playground

Developers call the API from the browser and see real responses, so they understand the product before reading a single sales page.

  • An enterprise demo booking engine

A demo booking funnel that qualifies each request and lets buyers pick a time, so sales calls start with context.

How we did it

  1. (01)

    Two audiences, two journeys

We mapped what developers need and what buyers need, and made sure each could find their path from the homepage.

  2. (02)

    A safe playground

Test calls run in a sandbox, so they never touch live customer data.

  3. (03)

    Design and build

The SaaS website design focused on speed and easy movement between docs, pricing and the demo page.

  4. (04)

    Track the whole funnel

Playground use, docs visits and demo requests are measured together, so the team sees which path leads to contracts.
