About MB Joshi Astro
MB Joshi Astro offers Vedic astrology consultations to clients in India and abroad. Many clients look at the website before deciding whether to book, so it has to explain the practice clearly and make booking simple.
The challenge
International clients live in many time zones, and arranging a consultation by message means a long back and forth over dates and times. The practice needed astrology website development that explained its approach, gave visitors something useful straight away and let anyone book a slot in their own local time.
What we built
A global Vedic astrology platform
Clear pages on consultation types and how sessions work, written for newcomers to Vedic astrology as well as regular clients.
A planetary birth chart calculation engine
Visitors enter their birth details and receive a chart on the site, which shows the depth of the practice before anyone books.
Automated time zone booking
An online consultation booking system that shows open slots in the visitor's local time and sends confirmations, so nobody turns up an hour late.
How we did it
- (01)
Understand the consultation
How sessions run, how long they last and what clients need to share beforehand.
- (02)
Get the charts right
The calculation logic was checked against the astrologer's own readings.
- (03)
Build booking around time zones
Availability is set once in Indian time and shown in local time to every visitor.
- (04)
Test from many places
Bookings were tested from several countries' time zones before launch.
